Came across this site from @conraddecker. Love the brash, I could care less if you like me approach to marketing services. The world could use more people like this.
Mike, would probably tell me to eff myself, but I've found that dissing big agencies can backfire, especially when you find the need to partner with one. Learned that lesson first hand.
The big question is, who would respond to this approach? Most big agencies, who tend to have the large clients, would be offended, not that I really care so much. Small to mid-size businesses don't have dedicated Marketing people and hence wouldn't be savvy enough to understand the premise.
Apparently the guy's got a lot of work to do. Not that I give a crap. ;-)

At the time I published my site, I was a Creative Director at a big shop. I was looking for potential freelancers to do some work for us and got fed-up with the stale and uninspiring way most creatives presented themselves and their work online. I thought it was high-time someone satirized the standard "portfolio, services, contact" formula that's so popular. I can't help but wonder who these people really are and what they really stand for. I wondered what a freelancer's site might look like if it were unabashedly honest. So I wrote the copy and slapped it into HTML over my lunch break one afternoon.
Funny thing is, within a week I had more strangers contacting me for freelance work than I ever had in my freelance days -- in spite of the fact that I created the site as a joke. Several of the offers were good and I ended-up taking them! Of course, there's been a fair share of negative feedback too, but the whole point of satire is to stir the pot. Besides, you know what they say about "bad press." ;-)

That answers my question. You've managed to tap into the business "mavericks" (no political reference intended) who also feel that the marketing community is generally disingenuous.
Should you decide to get back on the grid and work for an agency, the agency could simply claim to not be like those other guys.
On a side note, it's nice to see that you use standards-based markup.
